Neuroconvergence, established in 2024, is a neurodivergent-led initiative dedicated to fostering unity, understanding, and collaboration within the neurodivergent community and beyond. Our vision is rooted in the concept of the collective brain—the idea that society, like the individual brain, functions best when all its parts work together in harmony.
Our mission is to create positive spaces where organisations, charities, and individuals working in neurodiversity support and advocacy can come together for meaningful conversations, design a shared vision, and become a united force for national change. We organise inclusive festivals that bring the neurodivergent community together, building networks, friendships, and opportunities, while also developing online platforms to ensure accessibility for all.
We address the isolation often felt by advocacy groups, offering a collaborative initiative that empowers and amplifies the combined voice of our communities. Moving forward, our structure includes regular core team meetings, bi-monthly online gatherings with partner organisations, and at least two festivals each year—one in-person and one online. We hope to expand on all activities as we grow through our podcast and educational webinars.
Our expanded website, Neuroconvergence.ie, will act as a hub to connect communities, host live events, provide peer support, and offer a comprehensive database of services and activities, whilst being full of fun and entertaining content for all brains to enjoy!! Together, we aim to create a more inclusive, functional, and united society.
